Through most of this book I was laughing like crazy and this book is a feel-good book. Everything that happened and all the characters I enjoyed reading about them and I enjoyed the storyline as well as both relationships in this book, the primary relationship and the secondary relationship. I will understand that this book might not be for everyone but in this book you get to see that waiting for love and fighting for love, the love that you deserve, is worthwhile. I truly loved this book.-KaisyE-book purchased on Amazon The first book had such a fiery and promising beginningI know sequels are rarely as good or better than the original, but I feel like there could’ve been many other tender moments shared between the two lovers in this bookSpoilersFor example, in the first book I liked how there were scenes dedicated to Rory’s interests and moments of sharing them with Phoenix (AKA the hot photography scene I wished we got more of). Dax clearly loves cooking and other domestic activities that bring him joy; I wish there could’ve been a cute cooking scene between him and Rowan like baking cupcakes and playing in the kitchen and feeding each other or something. Anything!Also the sex scenes in this bug felt rather dry and unimpressive. I know that the author was probably working on a strict deadline to try to get this book out quickly, but I was still disappointed.
